Alex McClure is an NC native who began his professional culinary experience at 17 years old working as a line cook at Tazza Kitchen in Cary, NC. From there he moved up to Sous Chef and then to Head Chef/Kitchen Manager. He worked at tazza for almost 10 years before transitioning away from the company to pursue additional experience with fine dining cuisine at Glasshouse Kitchen in Durham, NC.
Alex is currently a chef at Naōs while pursuing his private cheffing adventure. He hopes to take all his experience from a mom and pop shop to a fine dining restaurant and bring those flavors and experiences to your home. He and his wife love hosting and using food as a motive to bring their loved ones together. He hopes he can bring that love of food, good company, and a fun experience to your next dinner party.
